Christmas Day in Puerto Vallarta

This December, for the first time since I was 17, I was out of the country for Christmas--on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. On Christmas Day I took the photographs below. Happy holidays to all my readers, and best wishes for a wonderful 2009!

Hi!
I just found your blog a couple of weeks ago, it is great! I am from Washington State but living in El Paso. I love the ABQ/Santa Fe area. You have some great photos and fun places to visit.
I was worried when you hadn't posted since Nov...glad all is Ok and you were off having fun in the sun.

PVR is a great place to be for the holidays. We've stayed there several times in various condos but usually snowbird in Mazatlan, where we'll be for 3 months, beginning January 31.

I've visited your blog several times, primarily to see more of SF (and wish that you'd post more often!!). I love the photos of the statues you have of PV, too.

Happy New Year to you. PS If you want to see photos of Maz that I take while we're there visit my blog at

Kate and Karen--thanks for your comments. Had an unusually busy fall, but hoping to post more frequently now that the holidays are behind us. Kate--will definitely check out your Mazatlan blog.
